Adult Acting Class

Spring Session: Thurs. March 29th - May 31st, 2012
Adult Acting Level I & Level II

This class begins with the fundamentals of acting and works its way through intermediate and advance techniques and theories of acting for all mediums of the craft. Whether for television, film or stage this course explores in detail the theories and motivations and practices that can make you successful in your craft.

This class is taught in a lecture format with exercises and scene study as a requirement for participation. Serious actors will gain from continued exploration in their craft through challenging complex exercises pulled from Meisner and Guskin to Hagen and Batson. The novice will be challenged to forfeit their notions of what they think acting is and learn what it is not.

This course is not for "people who already know everything about acting" rather it is for people who are open to learning what is possible in their craft to better themselves and their fellow actors on stage, screen or television. Not for the sensitive or sheepish  this course is taught with passion and intelligence. Taking notes is required and some nights go longer than they should. The ability to think outside the box is a must.

Tuition: $100 per month (2 Month Session) Price subject to change without notice.

Note: If this is your first time signing up for classes this year (2012-2013)  an annual registration fee of $20.00 is required. Please add to your tuition.  If you are signing up for more than one class for the same student pay the registration fee for the first class ONLY and then select "Paid on 1st class" for the next class(es).
